Marvel Rivals Season 1: A New York City-Themed Map Expansion

Marvel Rivals' first season continues to expand its content, introducing new maps themed around Marvel's New York City alongside the Fantastic Four heroes and cosmetics. Let's explore each new map:

Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown

Launched at the start of Season 1, this Convoy map is designed for the game's payload mode. Players either escort or defend a moving vehicle across a Midtown Manhattan setting, transformed by Dracula's Blood Moon. Key points of interest include iconic Marvel and real-world locations: Baxter Building, Grand Central Terminal, Stark/Avengers Tower, Fisk Tower, Ardmore's Bookstore, and Timely Trend. This is the third Convoy map in Rivals, joining Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path and Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands.

Empire of Eternal Night: The Mystical Sanctum Santorum

This unique map, a visually stunning rendition of Doctor Strange's Sanctum Santorum, is exclusive to the Doom Match mode – a free-for-all deathmatch. Leaderboard rankings determine winners and MVP. The Sanctum Santorum, a location first introduced in a 1963 comic and famously featured in the MCU, serves as Earth's supernatural defense in this game iteration. Expect hidden secrets, unique architectural elements, and even a chance to interact with Bats the Ghost Dog.

Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park

Expected to launch later in Season 1, this map features a stylized Belvedere Castle, situated at one of Central Park's highest points. Its Gothic architecture fits the Empire of Eternal Night theme, suggesting it might serve as a hideout for Dracula within the game's version of New York City.

These are all the confirmed new maps for Marvel Rivals Season 1. Stay tuned for further updates!
