Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – New Characters, Maps, and Game Mode Unveiled

NetEase Games recently unveiled exciting details about Marvel Rivals Season 1, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This three-month season introduces Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and Invisible Woman (Strategist) from the Fantastic Four, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving approximately six to seven weeks later. The Baxter Building will also feature prominently in a new map.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice, offers 10 new skins and a generous return of 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. A thrilling new game mode, "Doom Match," debuts alongside three new maps:

New Maps:

Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum
Empire of the Eternal Night: Midtown (for convoy missions)
Empire of the Eternal Night: Central Park (arriving mid-season)

New Game Mode:

Doom Match (an 8-12 player arcade-style battle, with the top 50% victorious)

The developers highlighted their commitment to player feedback, acknowledging concerns about character balance (like Hawkeye's ranged advantage) and promising adjustments in the first half of Season 1. While rumors of a PvE mode circulated, they weren't addressed in this announcement. The anticipation for Season 1 is high among fans eager to experience these new additions.
