Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater's ESRB rating has unveiled the return of the Peep Demo Theater feature. Dive deeper to understand what this entails and how the game's camouflage system has been enhanced.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB, and the rating summary confirms the return of the Peep Demo Theater feature. This feature, originally found in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater's Subsistence and HD Collection versions, displays all cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA in her underwear. Players can control the camera to view these scenes from any angle and zoom in on any part of her body. To unlock this, players must collect all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, requiring four playthroughs of the game.
The game's M rating is expected, given its focus on an elite soldier navigating enemy lines, with themes of violence and gore. However, the return of the "Creepy mode," as it's sometimes called, has surprised many fans due to its controversial and sexual nature.
In other exciting news, MGS Delta introduces a faster camouflage system. A video shared by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on Twitter (X) on March 28 showcased this new feature, allowing players to change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more in under three seconds. This is a significant improvement over the original Metal Gear Solid 3, where changing camouflage was a slow process that required pausing the game, navigating menus, and selecting the desired option. This enhancement promises to improve the game's pacing and enhance the stealth experience.
As the release date of MGS Delta approaches, fans are eagerly anticipating the remake, which promises to bring back beloved features while introducing quality-of-life improvements. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is scheduled for release on August 26, 2025, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
