MSI's Nvidia RTX 50-Series Cards Sold Under Alias at Walmart

by Hunter Apr 25,2025

If you're on the hunt for one of the new Nvidia Blackwell graphics cards and want to avoid paying a hefty markup, it's wise to turn to the manufacturers themselves. MSI, a leading AIB partner of Nvidia, offers its graphics cards through its subsidiary brand "Raideals" on the Walmart online marketplace. Currently, you can find a range of cards from the budget-friendly RTX 5060 Ti to the high-end RTX 5080, often at some of the lowest prices available online.

It's important to note that even if a graphics card is sold at its "list price," this may not align with Nvidia's suggested launch price. For instance, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB has an initial launch price of $429, but MSI's most affordable version is listed at $609. This price difference reflects the added value from enhanced build quality, features like superior cooling systems, and factory overclocking, as well as the manufacturer's markup. These additional costs are now standard unless you're lucky enough to snag an Nvidia Founder's Edition card.

"The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti easily handles most AAA games at 1080p with all the graphical settings cranked up, making it an excellent choice for mid-range gaming. However, it's advisable to steer clear of the 8GB version for optimal performance."

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 excels at delivering high frame rates at 1440p, but it doesn't necessarily outperform competitors like the RTX 4070 Super within its price range. It does feature Multi Frame Generation, which is beneficial for users with high-refresh monitors, but this alone might not justify an upgrade."

"For its price, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti stands out as the top choice for 4K gaming. It offers significant performance improvements over its predecessor, and with DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation, it's set to remain a relevant choice for years to come."

"The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 is a highly capable 4K graphics card at its price point. However, it may not provide the significant performance boost that hardcore enthusiasts who upgrade every generation are looking for."

If you're considering a prebuilt PC, look at Alienware
