Donkey Kong Country Returns HD (January 16th) and Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition (March 20th) have confirmed release dates. Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond are also slated for release this year, though specific dates remain unannounced.

Further announcements are anticipated during the Nintendo Direct, airing Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025. While the focus is reportedly on the Switch 2, fans eagerly await potential reveals of exclusive Switch 2 titles. The exact broadcast time will be announced later via official Nintendo channels.

Pre-Launch Switch 2 Experience

The Nintendo Switch 2 launch is also confirmed for 2025, likely in the latter half of the year. To build anticipation, "Nintendo Switch 2 Experience" events will be held across 15 global locations (including New York, Tokyo, and Amsterdam) starting in April. Super Nintendo World Expands to Orlando

Expanding its IP reach, Nintendo is opening a new Super Nintendo World theme park at Universal Orlando Resort’s Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida, on May 22nd, 2025. This follows the successful launch of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood. The Orlando park will feature iconic landscapes from Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country. A Singapore location is also planned for 2025, though details are limited.
