More details about the long-rumored relaunch of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion have emerged following a leak on a developer's website, showcasing screenshots and images of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

The images, which were discovered and widely shared across forums like ResetEra and Reddit, were reportedly found on the website of developer Virtuos. These leaked images showcase a remastered version of the iconic game, featuring significant enhancements in models, textures, visual fidelity, and more.

Currently, accessing the Virtuos website is challenging, with most pages beyond the main landing page appearing to be down.

Despite the quick removal of these details, numerous screenshots and information have already spread across the internet. According to VGC, the much-discussed game will officially be titled The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and is being developed through a collaboration between Virtuos and Bethesda's studios in Dallas and Rockville.

Virtuos has a strong track record in remastering games, having worked on projects like The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition.

The leak also suggests that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S (including Game Pass), and PlayStation 5. Additionally, a Deluxe Edition is expected to be released, featuring bonuses such as exclusive weapons and horse armor—a playful reference to the controversial 2006 DLC.

Rumors about a remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion have been circulating for some time, initially sparked by leaked documents from the Microsoft-FTC trial in 2023. Recent reports have hinted that the game might even be released with little to no prior announcement, possibly as early as this month.

As of now, no official statement or reveal has been made, but with the extent of information now public, the arrival of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered appears imminent.
