Overwatch 2 is gearing up to significantly boost Reinhardt and Winston, two veteran tank heroes. These changes aim to address longstanding balance issues and better integrate these classic heroes into Overwatch 2's one-tank meta.

Dawson revealed a design philosophy focused on avoiding overly versatile heroes, acknowledging past missteps. The upcoming adjustments reflect this, with planned improvements for both Reinhardt and Winston.

• Reinhardt: His Charge ability is slated for a damage increase to 300, potentially one-shotting most non-tank heroes upon pinning.
