While no official date has been set, the announcement included a teaser showcasing Trainer's Pokémon such as Lillie's Clefairy ex, Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex, N's Zoroark ex, and N's Reshiram. These cards, a hallmark of the early TCG, featured unique abilities and artwork.

The teaser also hinted at a possible Team Rocket comeback, featuring Mewtwo alongside the iconic Team Rocket symbol. This fuels speculation about a dedicated Team Rocket set or even the return of Dark Pokémon, another popular early mechanic. Rumors about Team Rocket's return have circulated, including reports of a Japanese retailer listing and a trademark filing by The Pokémon Company.
