Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held in three global cities across different dates in June:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, unique gameplay experiences, and bonuses. In-person attendees can expect special city-specific features, exclusive merchandise, themed areas, community hubs, and team lounges. Rare Pokémon, including increased Shiny encounter rates, will be a major highlight, similar to previous years' events featuring Pokémon like Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow.

January Events: Fashion Week and Shadow Raid Day

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two exciting January events:

• Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th (12:00 pm) - January 19th (8:00 pm) local time. This event introduces Shadow Palkia, Shroodle, and Grafaiai, along with other Shadow Pokémon and a fashionable Croagunk encounter.

• Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) local time. Trainers can battle Shadow Ho-Oh in five-star raids. A $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, 50% more XP from raids, and a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate. Successful captures can learn the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
