Recent leaks surrounding Genshin Impact have unveiled intriguing details about Natlan's Pyro Archon, one of the upcoming playable characters. The Archons, also known as the Seven, are powerful deities overseeing Teyvat's seven regions, each possessing a unique elemental affiliation and divine philosophy. The recently introduced Hydro Archon, Lady Furina of Fontaine, exemplifies their potent capabilities and versatile team integration.
With Natlan's imminent arrival in Genshin Impact update 5.0, anticipation builds for the Pyro Archon's debut. Reliable leaker, Uncle K, has shed light on the Archon's narrative and in-game abilities. Their storyline, rumored to "infuriate Apep"—one of Sumeru's seven legendary Elemental Dragons—suggests a potential geographical link between Natlan and Sumeru.
Speculation regarding the Pyro Archon's kit points towards potent on-field and off-field capabilities, a common trait among Archons. Similar to Raiden Shogun, maximizing their potential likely necessitates Constellation level 2 or higher, with one ability significantly enhancing team survivability and their C6 effect providing substantial team-wide buffs.
While these leaks remain unconfirmed, the Pyro Archon's addition to the playable roster is anticipated in three to four months, aligning with HoYoverse's established release pattern for new Archons (Nahida and Furina released in updates 3.2 and 4.2, respectively, following the introduction of their respective regions).
Adding to the mystery, Genshin Impact's lore hints at the existence of at least two Pyro Archons, one being Murata. The connection between Murata and the Mondstadt warrior Vennessa, a member of the "children of Murata" tribe, adds another layer of intrigue, although the tribe's long history of separation obscures their exact relationship to the Archon. Further credible information is needed to definitively clarify whether Murata is the past or present Pyro Archon.
