Respec Options Emerge in Avowed Gameplay Reveal

Re-rolling your Avowed character? It happens! This guide details how to respec your abilities, attributes, and even your companion's skills.

Why Respec?

Choosing the right build at the start can be tricky. If your Avowed character isn't playing as you envisioned (perhaps that wizard build isn't working out), respecing allows you to adjust and optimize your gameplay. Later in the game, respeccing helps fine-tune your build for maximum effectiveness.

Respeccing Abilities

To respec your abilities:

1. Open the in-game menu.
2. Navigate to the "Abilities" section.
3. At the bottom, you'll find the "Reset Points" option.
4. The cost (starting at 100 Copper Skeyt) increases as you progress.
5. Confirm and pay to reset all ability points (excluding "Godlike" abilities, which are acquired through gameplay choices).

Respeccing Attributes

To respec your attributes:

1. Open the in-game menu.
2. Go to the "Character" section.
3. Below the attribute listings, locate the respec button.
4. Pay the cost (starting at 100 Copper Skeyt, increasing over time).
5. Your attribute points will be reset.

Respeccing Companions

To respec your companion:

1. Open the in-game menu.
2. Go to the "Abilities" section, then select the "Companions" tab.
3. Under your companion's name, you'll see a respec button.
4. Pay the cost to reset your companion's ability points.
5. Note: Each companion must be respecced individually.
