Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat

Following the epic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unveiled an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing two fresh faces to the fray: Spider-Woman and Lumatrix. This update not only brings these new characters but also introduces new quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all packed with valuable rewards for players to chase.

Spider-Woman swings into action on April 17th, leveraging her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage skills to make a significant impact in The Contest. On the other hand, Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025, makes their debut on April 9th. This dazzling yet dangerous assassin, created by The Founders, uses light manipulation powers to mask a deadly intent. To add Lumatrix to your roster, you'll need to collect Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids, with the event running through June 4th.

The new quest, Spy Games, adds another layer of intrigue, featuring Black Widow teaming up with Spider-Woman to delve into the mysterious arrival of the Eidols. This event, running from March 9th to May 7th, is filled with danger and deception, with these elite spies at the heart of uncovering the truth behind Lumatrix's sinister light show.

Deadpool also joins the fun with the Red & Dead’s Discount Shed event, running from April 25th to May 2nd. Convinced by Red Guardian, Deadpool is ready to share a stash of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th offers players a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event will shake up the seven-day supply drop, running from April 18th through May 2nd. By achieving milestones, players can earn Poolshields, which can be exchanged for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, ensuring that regular logins translate into more free rewards.
