Hot Toys unveiled an impressive array of 1:6 scale figures for Star Wars Day, including some major characters who had never before been featured in their collection. The highlight was undoubtedly the Jar Jar Binks figure, which, regardless of your feelings about the character, captures his essence with stunning detail. With seamless arm joints and two swappable face sculpts, this figure allows fans to recreate Jar Jar's iconic poses. Hot Toys also addressed a gap in their Sequel Trilogy offerings with a Poe Dameron figure, complete in his Resistance X-Wing jumpsuit. Additionally, fans can look forward to a Clone Commando Boss figure and the expansion of Hot Toys' Star Wars Rebels-inspired line, which now includes a Darth Vader figure to complement the previously released Stormtrooper figures.

Hasbro unveiled a diverse range of figures in both the 6-inch Black Series and the 3 3/4-inch Vintage Collection lines. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith, Hasbro released new Black Series figures in packaging reminiscent of the classic RotS toy line, including Aayla Secura and a Magnaguard droid. Black Series collectors can also expand their Imperial trooper collections with a Rogue One-themed 2-pack featuring a Shoretrooper and a Death Trooper. On the Vintage Collection front, Hasbro introduced compelling multi-pack releases such as the "Stormtroopers of the Empire 3-Pack," which includes a Snowtrooper, Scouttrooper, and a Sandtrooper, and the "Cantina Adventure 4-Pack," featuring four aliens from the Mos Eisley sequence: Hammerhead, Walrus Man, Greedo, and Snaggletooth. This set is perfect for pairing with Hasbro's crowdfunded Mos Eisley Cantina playset. Finally, prop collectors will be thrilled with the new ForceFX Elite lightsaber inspired by Ezra Bridger's weapon from Rebels.

The standout piece is the Luke Skywalker: Red Five, Standing By Premium Format Figure, a 1:4 scale, mixed media statue depicting Luke in his X-Wing jumpsuit climbing onto his ship. The inclusion of a sculpted portion of the X-Wing adds to its allure and price. Alongside distributing Hot Toys' releases, Sideshow continues to produce 1:6 scale figures, focusing on their "Scum and Villainy" line, which highlights lesser-known aliens and creatures. The second wave includes characters from Jabba's Palace in Return of the Jedi, such as Bib Fortuna, Klaatu, and Vizam. Lastly, Sideshow introduced a 1:10 scale statue from Iron Studios, a smaller version of their 1:4 scale Darth Vader statue, inspired by The Empire Strikes Back.
