Star Wars Outlaws Release Date Announced for Nintendo Switch 2

Ubisoft has officially confirmed that Star Wars: Outlaws will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2, although it won't be available at the console's launch on June 5. Instead, fans can look forward to diving into this space adventure on September 4, a few months after the new Nintendo handheld hits the market.

If you haven't yet experienced Star Wars: Outlaws on PS5, Xbox, or PC, the game is set in the timeline between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It follows the journey of Kay Vess, a small-time criminal who suddenly finds herself targeted by a cartel. Our reviewer rated it a 7, describing it as "a fun intergalactic heist adventure with great exploration, but it’s hindered by simple stealth, repetitive combat, and a few too many bugs at launch."

While Ubisoft didn't reveal much beyond the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, this news is a significant update for the Switch 2 Games List. In this expansion, players will see Kay Vess teaming up with Hondo Ohnaka to confront Stinger Tash, the leader of the Rokana Raiders. Star Wars: Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune is scheduled for release on May 15, offering fans more adventures to look forward to in the Star Wars universe.
