Studio Bitmap Bureau's retro side-scrolling game, inspired by Terminator 2: Judgment Day, promises a fresh take on the iconic film. While drawing inspiration from the movie's plot, the developers guarantee original storylines and multiple endings, ensuring replayability. Key scenes from the film, however, will remain faithfully recreated.
Players will control the T-800, Sarah Connor, and a now-adult John Connor, each offering unique gameplay experiences. Sarah and the T-800 will face off against the relentless T-1000, while John will lead the human resistance.
The trailer boasts the franchise's instantly recognizable theme music and showcases beloved Terminator 2 moments reinterpreted in appealing pixel art. Beyond the main campaign, several arcade modes will provide additional challenges.
The game's launch date is set for September 5th, 2025, across all current-generation consoles and PC platforms.
