Top Deals Today: Pokémon TCG, Mass Effect, and More

by Ethan Apr 17,2025

I think we can all agree that the Pokémon TCG is a wallet-endangering hobby, but that doesn’t mean we have to overpay for cardboard. Amazon has just released a series of enticing bundles, including Surging Sparks, Journey Together, and Paldean Fates. If you've been rationalizing your purchases as "just a few packs for the kids," now is the perfect time to stock up while convincing yourself it's not for you. No judgment here—I'm doing the same thing.

Catch Surging Sparks, Journey Together, and Paldean Fates

Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet - Surging Sparks

Price: $54.75 save 18% - $45.02 at Amazon

I picked up Surging Sparks because six booster packs under $50 is a steal compared to Amazon's recent prices (though still above MSRP). I wanted something new to crack open. It's part of the latest Scarlet & Violet expansion, making it a smart choice for those keeping up with the current sets or just enjoying the thrill of pulling a great card.

Pokémon TCG: Iono’s Bellibolt ex Premium Collection

Price: $56.18 at Amazon

This collection is perfect for collectors who value presentation as much as the cards themselves. Iono’s Bellibolt ex Premium Collection includes six packs, a full-art promo, and an elaborate display sheet. It's also a fantastic way to get your hands on Journey Together packs with an impressive promo card.

Mass Effect Merchandise

Price: $59.99 at IGN Store

I couldn't resist mentioning the Mass Effect statues available at the IGN Store. My bookshelf wasn't crowded enough, so I pre-ordered Jack because chaos is fun. The line features Commander Shepard, Tali, Legion, and more, and they're stylish enough to warrant their own space. If you still quote Garrus unironically, these are for you.

Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet: Paldean Fates: Booster Bundle

Price: See it at Amazon

Paldean Fates is priced at double MSRP but is hard to find in 2025. I grabbed it for the baby shiny subset, but if you're after individual cards, buying singles might save you money.

Fellow Traveller Publisher Bundle

Price: Pay less to get fewer items, or pay extra to give more to publishers, Humble, and charity One Tree Planted - $123.00 save 90% - $12.00 at Humble

This bundle contains some of the best narrative indies from recent years. I paid $12, added the games to my backlog, and immediately started playing The Pale Beyond. It's an excellent lineup if you enjoy character-driven games and don't mind the occasional emotional rollercoaster from minimalist storytelling.

Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet Shrouded Fable Elite Trainer Box

Price: $54.96 at Amazon

This box is the all-in-one solution for those who want cards and a host of accessories they might not use but still want. It includes nine booster packs, a promo card, sleeves, dice, and more, giving you structure alongside the excitement of opening packs.

Pokémon TCG: Terapagos ex Ultra-Premium Collection

Price: $135.00 at Amazon

I hesitated on this one but then remembered it comes with 18 booster packs and a playmat. It's a significant investment, but if you're looking for a premium bundle that justifies its cost, this is it. I bought it more for the experience than the cards, and that's the right approach.

Pokémon TCG: Shining Fates Collection Pikachu V Box

Price: $53.46 at Amazon

I grabbed the Shining Fates Pikachu V box because I missed out on it initially. It includes four booster packs, a Pikachu promo, and an oversized card that ends up on your desk. It's a nice nostalgic pick if you missed it the first time around.
