Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!

Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)

This in-person event, inspired by the Unova region games, will take place in Los Angeles' Rose Bowl Stadium and New Taipei City's Metropolitan Park.

Trainers will explore themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade) featuring Unova Pokémon, including shiny Deerling variants depending on location and time. Shiny Meloetta awaits via Masterwork Research, alongside potential shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and others. Shiny Pikachu with unique hats can be found through Field Research.

Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom will be Five-Star Raid bosses. Druddigon (Three-Star Raids) and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott (One-Star Raids) will also appear, with increased shiny rates.

Tickets are on sale now at a discounted price ($25 USD in Los Angeles, $630 NT in New Taipei). Add-on ticket purchases offer extra bonuses, such as 5,000 XP per raid completion. The event runs 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8 respectively). Exclusive merchandise and team lounges will also be available.

A global version, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will be held March 1-2 for free.

Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)

This city-wide event will take place in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time).

Join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery! Receive an explorer hat-wearing Eevee, evolvable into various forms (retaining the hat). The Eevee Explorers Expedition offers a second hat-wearing Eevee.

Special Pokémon like Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, and Clamperl will appear, along with Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu Styles), Swablu, and Skiddo from eggs. Location-specific Pokémon encounters are also planned. Maps will be provided, and Pikachu/Eevee visors (while supplies last) will be given to attendees.

Tickets are priced at R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong. Add-on tickets offer extra items and increased shiny Pokémon encounter chances. Don't miss out!
