Story and Release Date:

The narrative, as detailed by writer and narrative designer Zaire Lanier, centers on Hazel, who, after a hurricane destroys her home, embarks on a quest to find her missing mother. This journey leads her to discover her own magical heritage as a Weaver, capable of manipulating the threads of fate.

The game launches April 8th, 2025, with early access for Premium Edition purchasers (available on Steam and Xbox Store for $49.99) beginning April 3rd, 2025. The standard edition costs $39.99, and Game Pass subscribers can play on day one. The game's setting is Prospero, a composite of Southern locations, including swamps, mountains, and flooded countrysides. Hazel will encounter fantastical creatures from Southern folklore, including Catfish, a talking creature who reveals Hazel's abilities.

Hazel's power, Weaving, allows her to manipulate threads connecting the universe. She'll face Haints, corrupted creatures spreading decay, requiring her to master her abilities to purify them and restore reality.

Hazel must collect Echoes, fragments of haunted memories, to heal these corrupted beings after defeating them in epic confrontations.
