World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways!

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, and this time it's even bigger. Running for seven consecutive weeks until February 24th, this event offers a non-stop Timewalking campaign marathon. Players can earn a wealth of rewards, including a mountain of Timewarped Badges, a significant experience boost, and a chance to snag a coveted new mount.

This expanded event builds upon the five-week Turbulent Timeways event from September 2023. The core gameplay remains the same: complete Timewalking dungeons to earn the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff, granting a 20% experience bonus after four dungeons. However, the increased duration presents an even greater opportunity for leveling and reward accumulation.

The Timewalking Tour: A Seven-Week Journey Through WoW History

The seven-week schedule covers a diverse range of WoW expansions, ensuring variety and nostalgia for players of all eras:

Achieving Mastery of Timeways in five out of the seven weeks unlocks the "Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2" achievement, rewarding players with the adorable Timely Buzzbee mount. Timewalking vendors across all expansions boast new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. Additionally, the Sandy Shalewing pet, previously exclusive to the September event, makes a return. And for added excitement, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest awards Heroic-level gear throughout the Turbulent Timeways event.

A Non-Stop Timewalking Spree:

Following the recent 11-week World of Warcraft 20th-anniversary Timewalking event, this extended Turbulent Timeways event continues the time-traveling festivities, resulting in a remarkable 18 weeks of consecutive Timewalking campaigns!

Clues to Future Content:

The event's conclusion date offers a significant clue regarding future WoW updates. With the final Timewalking campaign ending on February 24th, and considering Blizzard's typical release schedule, February 25th is strongly hinted as the launch date for World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, "Undermined." This aligns with a ten-week gap following Patch 11.0.7, and promises a busy start to 2025 for WoW players, alongside the continued Plunderstorm event and the upcoming War Within content update.
