Wuthering Waves 2.6: Sun's Scourge, Moon's Revelation

Following an extensive teaser campaign, Wuthering Waves has officially launched its latest chapter: By Sun’s Scourge, By Moon’s Revelation. The 2.6 update advances the main story while introducing two new 5-Star Resonators, an entirely new area to discover, additional weapons, in-game events, system optimizations, and a wealth of rewards for returning players.

At the heart of Wuthering Waves version 2.6 are Augusta and Iuno, two formidable 5-Star Resonators who embody the contrasting forces of sun and moon. Augusta, an Electro Broadblade user, excels as a primary damage dealer with built-in damage amplification, available through the "Eternal Radiance of the Crown" convene event.

Iuno serves as a supportive counterpart, wielding Aero Gauntlets to aid the team with healing, improved Concerto efficiency, and damage buffs. Players can obtain Iuno via the "Across Time’s Waxes and Wanes" convene. This duo is poised to play pivotal roles in the evolving narrative. The newly unlocked Sanguis Plateaus region presents a striking, rugged highland where the Septimontians rally against the Dark Tide. Accessible during Chapter II, Act VIII: "By Sun’s Burning Hand," this zone features dedicated exploration events such as Hunt of Ash and Steel, the Sanguis Plateaus Travel Atlas, and Prints of Plateaus.

Beyond exploration and new Resonators, the update drives the narrative forward with two major quests: "By Sun’s Burning Hand" and "By Moon’s Fated Light." Additionally, version 2.6 introduces two new 5-Star weapons—Thunderflare Dominion and Moongazer’s Sigil—alongside the 4-Star Hunter’s Growl weapon series.
