Xbox Game Pass Reveals May 2025 Wave 1 Titles

Microsoft has unveiled the exciting lineup for Wave 1 of the Xbox Game Pass May 2025, featuring 12 new games that will be available up to May 20. The highlight of this wave is undoubtedly Doom: The Dark Ages, the latest installment in id Software's iconic first-person shooter series, set for a day-one launch on Game Pass.

Starting today, May 6, players can dive into Dredge, available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Dredge offers a unique single-player fishing adventure with a dark twist. Players will sell their catch, upgrade their boat, and explore the depths of a mysterious archipelago to uncover secrets best left forgotten.

On May 7, the Game Pass library expands further with several new titles. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be accessible on Cloud, Console, and PC via Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Dungeons of Hinterberg and Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will be available on Console through Game Pass Standard, while Metal Slug Tactics joins the Console lineup on the same platform.

May 8 brings two more day-one titles to the service. Revenge of the Savage Planet, available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, challenges players to explore and survive on an alien planet in a quest for revenge against their former employer. Meanwhile, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed, accessible on Cloud, Console, and PC, offers a thrilling new adventure with the legendary Turtle brothers as they fight crime and unravel an epic saga.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 returns to the Game Pass library on May 13, available on Cloud and Console for Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Standard subscribers. This cooperative game set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world offers intense first-person combat against Chaos and Skaven forces.

The main event, Doom: The Dark Ages, arrives on May 15 for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. This prequel to the acclaimed Doom series immerses players in a dark medieval war against Hell, with options for early access and additional content through the Premium Upgrade.

On May 16, Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo launches on Cloud, Console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. This unique papercraft adventure game takes players on a journey through Limbo, meeting various characters caught in a repeating day loop.

Rounding out the Wave 1 lineup on May 20 are Firefighting Simulator: The Squad and Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, both available on Cloud, Console, and PC across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard.
