What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?

"Haikyu!!" is an animated series based on the youth sports manga by Haruichi Furudate, which has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2012. The story revolves around high school volleyball and follows the journey of Karasuno High School, once dubbed the "Fallen powerhouse, flightless crow," as they aim to reclaim their glory. The narrative centers on the passionate protagonist, Shoyo Hinata, and a cast of unique characters, unfolding a gripping tale of youth and volleyball. In August 2022, it was announced that a two-part theatrical sequel to the anime would be produced.
