Square Enix brings the Dragon Quest Monsters series to mobile with Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, following its December 2023 Nintendo Switch release. This seventh installment in the franchise introduces a fresh perspective on a familiar character.

Who is the Dark Prince?

Players take on the role of Psaro, a young man cursed by his father, the Master of Monsterkind, rendering him unable to harm monsters. To lift the curse, Psaro embarks on a journey to become a Monster Wrangler, teaming up with creatures to climb the ranks and potentially claim his father's title. Fans of Dragon Quest IV will recognize Psaro as the villain, but this game reveals his story.

A World of Monsters

The game unfolds in Nadiria, a world where dynamic weather and changing seasons significantly impact gameplay. Over 500 unique monsters await recruitment, training, and fusion to create formidable allies. The weather dictates monster appearances, ensuring constant exploration rewards.
