World of Warcraft Patch Bugs Include German Bank Glitch

by Christopher Nov 29,2025

World of Warcraft has just launched a major new patch—the kind that introduces a fresh region, quests, dungeons, delves, raids, a wealth of story content, and plenty more. While it’s common to encounter a few bugs with new releases, patch 11.2 seems unusually plagued by odd glitches—including one amusing issue that’s switching some players' bank interfaces into German.

Multiple players using English language clients, and not on EU servers, have flagged the German language glitch. It’s far from game-breaking—just strange. Only the bank tabs are affected, displaying text in German, while the rest of the interface stays in the player’s chosen language. Interestingly, players from other countries and language settings are reporting similar behavior, but with different languages appearing. One German-speaking player, for example, found their tabs in French, and an English client user in Poland saw French tabs—while their spouse’s bank was set to German.

But this isn’t the only issue players are running into. I’ve encountered several myself while questing in the new zone, K’aresh—including quests not completing properly, vanishing from the log without explanation, and interactable objects that require a full game restart to work. I also experienced frequent disconnects last night—and I’m not alone. Some players can’t log in at all.

Others are facing even stranger problems. One user reports being asked to pay 500,000 gold just to enter the Darkmoon Faire—which is…slightly steep. Another found a bug (possibly linked to an installed mod) that expanded their bag slots to hold 98 items each—far beyond any bag’s intended capacity in the current game.

For now, it’s tough to say whether Ghosts of K’aresh is more unstable than previous patches, or if it just feels that way because everyone is rushing to explore everything at once. In all likelihood, these issues will be resolved within a few days, or at least by next Tuesday’s scheduled weekly maintenance.

In the meantime, if you plan on using your bank, you might want to brush up on your German. Viel Glück!
