Pokemon TCG Pocket has announced new Shining Revelry expansion, arriving later this month

Pokémon TCG Pocket's next expansion, Shining Revelry, arrives March 27th, bringing 110 new cards to the game. This exciting update includes Shiny variants of beloved Pokémon!

My engagement with Pokémon TCG Pocket tends to surge with each new expansion, fueled by the thrill of collecting and the competitive drive to earn Emblems. This cycle will undoubtedly restart with Shining Revelry. The expansion promises a fresh wave of Ex Pokémon, Trainers, and stunning art cards. But the real highlight? Shiny Pokémon! These captivating alternate-colored versions of familiar favorites—think a yellow Lucario or a pink-striped Pachirisu—add a new dimension to the game.

The trailer (see below) offers a tantalizing glimpse of what's to come. A standout is the new Shiny Charizard Ex, boasting 180 HP and the powerful Steam Artillery attack (150 damage, but requiring a hefty five energy). However, its Stoke ability mitigates this energy cost by allowing you to attach three Fire Energy at once.

Another exciting addition is a battle-ready Lucario Ex. Unlike its supporting role in Space-Time Smackdown, this Lucario is designed for direct combat. While its 150 HP isn't overwhelming, its Aura Sphere attack—dealing 100 damage and an additional 30 to a benched Pokémon—could be a game-changer.

Beyond the Ex Pokémon, Shining Revelry also features captivating Shiny Wiglett, Pachirisu, and Varoom, along with a must-have Tatsugiri art rare. These additions promise a visually stunning and strategically rewarding experience.
