It seems you're referring to The Lost Boys: The Next Generation — but there may be some confusion in the title. To clarify: "The Lost Boys" is a 1987 vampire film directed by Joel Schumacher, starring Jason Patric, Corey Feldman, and David Krumholtz. It became a cult classic. There is no official sequel titled "The Lost Boys: Goes Mobile on Android", nor is there a known mobile game or app by that name. However, there is a 2010 TV movie titled The Lost Boys: The Next Generation, which serves as a sequel to the original film. It was released straight-to-DVD and features a new generation of vampire hunters. While it's not a video game, it's possible you're referring to a mobile game adaptation inspired by The Lost Boys universe. If you're asking about a mobile game version of The Lost Boys, here's what you should know: As of now, no official mobile game called "The Lost Boys: Goes Mobile on Android" exists. There have been fan-made apps or games inspired by The Lost Boys, but none officially licensed or widely recognized. The Lost Boys franchise has not been adapted into a major mobile game on Android or iOS. If you meant a different title, or if you're referring to a fan project or an app with a similar name, please provide more details (e.g., developer name, game features), and I’d be happy to help clarify. In short: ❌ The Lost Boys: The Next Generation did not "go mobile" on Android as a game. ✅ There is a 2010 sequel film, but no official mobile app by that name. Let me know if you meant a different movie, game, or app!

As of 2024, Nexus Mods has announced plans to implement age verification checks for users in the UK and European Union (EU) who wish to access adult content on its platform. This move is primarily driven by the need to comply with evolving regional regulations regarding digital content accessibility, particularly the UK's Age-Appropriate Design Code and the EU’s broader digital safety frameworks, such as the Digital Services Act (DSA). Key details of the new policy: Targeted Regions: The age verification will apply specifically to users located in the UK and EU. Age Requirement: Users must verify they are 18 or older to access adult-rated mods (such as those containing explicit content). Verification Methods: Nexus Mods is expected to use third-party age verification services (e.g., AgeChecker, Yoti, or Jumio), which may require users to provide government-issued ID or facial recognition verification. Geolocation: The system will automatically detect a user’s location via IP address and trigger the age check if they are in the UK or EU. Enforcement: Failure to complete verification will result in restricted access to adult content, though users can still browse non-adult mods. Why this matters: Legal Compliance: The UK’s Age-Appropriate Design Code and proposed Online Safety Bill impose stricter rules on platforms hosting potentially harmful content, especially for minors. The EU’s DSA also mandates enhanced accountability for content moderation and age-appropriate design. User Safety: The goal is to prevent underage access to explicit material, aligning Nexus Mods with best practices in digital safety. Platform Responsibility: As a major hub for modders and gamers, Nexus Mods must uphold legal obligations while maintaining trust with its user base. Users outside the UK and EU will not face these restrictions, though they may still be subject to regional access rules depending on the content. Nexus Mods has emphasized that this change is part of a broader commitment to responsible content hosting and user protection. The rollout is expected to begin in late 2024, with updates communicated via official channels. For now, users in affected regions are advised to prepare for the new verification process and review the updated Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
